EPSEF - Eastern Panhandle Science and Engineering Fair

EPSEF 2022

Affiliated with:

Affiliated with Regeneron ISEF and Broadcom MASTERS

What's New?
EPSEF 2022 is being planned as a live event. However, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, a virtual event is also being planned as an alternative IF the live event is not possible.

In addition to the traditional project display board or poster, students will be required this year to submit a high resolution photo of the project board or a PDF of the poster.  Alternatively, students may submit a "Quad Chart" and a "Project Presentation" formatted similar to last year.

Judging will be accomplished in two stages.  First, Judges will evaluate uploaded project files before in the days before the fair.  Next, judges will interview students like in previous live fairs.  Finally, scores from both stages will be combined to determine the winners.

In the event of a virtual fair, students may submit brief video presentations for judges to view offline.

Feeder fairs will register students for EPSEF 2022.  Eligible students will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners from each category.  (See category list below.)

Students affected by any feeder fair cancellation will be allowed to directly enter EPSEF 2022.  Only students who are eligible for direct entry will electronically submit applications and project files directly to EPSEF.
